The Friendly Design for All Foundation, in collaboration with government agencies, state enterprises, private sector organizations, international institutions, and both local and global networks, is preparing to host a major year-end event: “Thailand Friendly Design Expo 2025: The 9th International Expo on Friendly Design, Health Innovation, Inclusive Sports & Tourism for All.” The event will take place from 11–14 December 2025 at Halls 100–101, BITEC Bangna, Bangkok, covering over 12,000 square meters of exhibition space.

Mr. Krisana Lalai, President of the Friendly Design for All Foundation and Chair of the Organizing Committee, stated that FD Expo enters its 9th year under the theme “Equal Access for All,” with a vision to advance Active Aging, Health, Wellness, Longevity, Soft Power, MICE, Sports, and Tourism for All. The expo aims to bring together stakeholders from all sectors to support a high-quality aging society, promote public health and longevity, and position Thailand as a hub for Soft Power, MICE, inclusive sports, and Tourism for All.

A key goal is to drive Thailand toward becoming a global Medical Hub, a leader in Health & Wellness Tourism, a MICE destination for all, and a fully inclusive nation that leaves no one behind in sports and tourism.

“FD Expo 2025 will serve as a premier international platform to showcase Thailand’s capabilities and global competitiveness in health tourism, inclusive sports, and accessible travel,” said Mr. Krisana. “At its foundation is Friendly Design—infrastructure and design that accommodates people of all ages and abilities. We expect to welcome more than 50,000 attendees both onsite and online from around the world. The expo will feature over 450 booths displaying cutting-edge innovations, technologies, and services in health, sports, and inclusive tourism from top organizations in Thailand and abroad. The event is expected to generate more than 3.5 billion baht in economic value.”
Thailand Friendly Design Expo 2025 also contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially the principle of “Leave No One Behind,” by promoting a more inclusive, equitable, healthy, and sustainable society for all.
